happy homemaker.

this week is insanely busy and stressful. for whatever reason everything in my little north carolina world is happening at once! i’m co-hosting a baby shower for a friend, donating my dog treats to a bake sale that’s raising money to help a couple shelters down here, working hard on homework and preparing to change my sleep schedule when my marine goes back to day crew.

phew! i’m tired just thinking about it!
in order to relax i’ve started to make things. i’ve talked about the homemade vanilla coffee creamer and rosemary mint fabric softener so (because i’m so dang nice) i’m going to share the recipies with you!

homemade vanilla coffee creamer
ingredients: 1 can sweetened condensed milk, 1 1/4 cups milk, 3 tsp vanilla
directions: mix all ingredients in a lidded container.
(lasts up to two weeks in fridge)

rosemary mint fabric softener
ingredients: 6 cups water, 3 cups white vinegar, 2 cups suave rosemary mint conditioner directions: mix water, vinegar and conditioner in a one gallon container. (don’t shake, stir!)
(use same amount you would normally use in a wash cycle) (http://www.onegoodthingbyjillee.com/2012/02/rebeccas-rosemary-mint-fabric-softener.html#more)

now get off your butt and start making!

  1. I hope you enjoy the coffee creamer. Thanks for the shout-out.

The fabric softener sounds great. I just made my own laundry detergent. It’s great 🙂
