words of wisdom wednesday

i’ve decided to start a weekly posting called:
words of wisdom wednesday!
not sure about you but by mid-week something or another has gone wrong and i need a little inspiration to keep me going. so i’m going to share my inspirations and hopefully they’ll give you that little pick-me-up that you might need!

recently, i absolutely needed to learn how to play guitar.
i felt it was contingent on my happiness! now i know how to play the chords to two songs and am extremely proud/happy that i know how to do so. always always always listen to and follow your heart.

i previously mentioned that i’m getting ready to move back home to finish my associate of the arts degree. planning this move has been anything but easy. i get very frustrated and discouraged when things don’t work out as i had hoped. this quote is a nice reminder that i’ll look back on everything one day and realize that it all worked out okay.

this is absolutely perfect!
i just recently (as of yesterday!!!) started working out again. before i hit the gym this afternoon i came up with a million different reasons why i should stay home and not go and thought of all the things i could have been doing and blah blah blah. now that i’m home from the gym, showered and have a good & healthy meal in me, i’m so glad that i went. and i know i’ll be even more happy when i start to see a little progress. these damn jelly beans keep calling my name but bathing suit season is quickly approaching and i want to be comfortable in a bikini…not hiding under a towel!

what words of wisdom are keeping you going this week?
please share! i’d love to hear them!
i hope the rest of your week is wonderful!

I really enjoy this, finding quotes that can relate to your life and how you feel is another amazing way to express yourself and give yourself some encouragement to better the way you feel.

it is most certainly puppy love ❤ just be here with me.
signed: the moon. the stars. your still-hot-cup-of-coffee. your daughter. your son. your spouse. your heart. the green grass. the wild flowers. the waters you long to swim in. the color yellow. the color blue. your favorite poem. your favorite blanket. the wind in your hair. the waves on the ocean. the mountain air. your dad. your mom. the rain. the ice-cream cone. the butter sizzling with garlic in the frying pan. the grocery clerk with the sad, kind eyes. postcards waiting to be sent. the city squirrel. the county squirrel. jupiter. the photo album. your grandma's rosary. your favorite song. ink and paper. your best friend. the money in your wallet. the fork in your hand. brushes and paint. downward facing dog. the color turquoise. the almost invisible shade of pink. god. the skyline. the earth beneath your feet. a hammock. the shade of a giant tree. this moment, right here, now. your bones. your belly laugh. your breath. your breath. your breath. (quote from pinterest) a short list of things i love: america, cocktails, red lips, my chalkboard, grilled food but most importantly long weekends spent with my loved ones. happy birthday america! thanks for giving us the day off to celebrate 🍻
