what a wonderful:
i’m always so happy when j is able to actually be in bed in the mornings instead of getting up and out of the house by 6:18am.
friday:
first of all, i knew it was going to be a good day because my nail polish matched my coffee cup!
we took baby leo to a beach on a river. when we take him to the beach we need to go to the river because he’s a little chicken and is terrified of the great big waves at the ocean.
love soaking up the sun/…what’s up with the dog’s ear?!/man, i married a hottie!
we spent the rest of friday watching movies and just hanging out.
until dinner time!
j took me on a date!!!
(we’re really big homebodies so this is a big deal!)
my dinner was the bomb.
i’m actually drooling while looking at this picture.
tmi? well it’s that good!

saturday:
the pools finally opened so we spent some time there.
being out in the sun always makes me super sleepy so we spent the rest of the day hanging out and napping…aka perfection.
best part of the day was i got my strawberry cheesecake ice cream fix.
mmm heaven in a 16oz container!
sunday:
j and i made a big brunch. i can make a real mean baked french toast and j is awesome at making all other breakfast foods so put us together and we’re unstoppable in the kitchen. we spent the rest of the day watching movies and napping on and off. ah-mazing.
monday:
back to the pool!
i’m currently going through a big braid phase .
to me, a braid and a hat are just the epitome of summer style.
don’t worry guys, j put on sunscreen. literally.
apparently i married a comedian!
j grilled a bomb dinner that night and i had every intention of taking a picture but i ended up just digging it.
we had grilled italian chicken breasts, veggies and baked potatoes.
i swear, if i could eat a baked potato every single day without getting fat, i so would!

Looks so fun and relaxing! Love that nail color & mug! Also, we must have been a match-because not only is Ben and Jerrys ice cream my absolute favorite, but strawberry cheesecake is my favorite kind (along with chunky monkey.) I can never find it in my local stores!! Ah! So good! 🙂
