april birchbox

hi friends!
it’s time again for my birchbox review!
april bb review
i was pretty happy with this month’s box!
april bb 2i received samples of:
-color club’s gala’s gem collection in hierloom pearls:: the nail polish was awesome but the color was horrible. i’m too pasty and pale to rock a pearly white color.
-yogini by harvey prince:: i was super excited to try this perfume after reading the description but it was awful. i literally opened most of the windows in my home to air smell out. really really not for me.
-number 4 high performance hair care’s clarifying shampoo:: i’ve been searching for the perfect shampoo. not sure if this is it but i liked it!
-number 4 high persomance hair care’s reconstructing masque:: love love loved this! i’m a big hair masque girl so this was right up my alley. left my hair feeling super soft but not heavy. aka perfection.
-sumitas’ color contrast eyeline in jamun (deep purple):: i’ve used purple before as a way to play up my hazel eyes so i was happy to get this sample. loved the color. it was the perfect mix of being purple but also not being purple. ya know?
-kind snacks healthy grains bar, maple pumpkin seeds with sea salt:: i gobbled this up as soon as i got it. it went so well with my afternoon coffee! very tasty.

i definitely didn’t like the nail polish or perfume samples but loved everything else.
well worth the $10 monthly subscription fee!

backyard bonfires with my boys ❤ if you know me, one of the best words to describe me is "busy". i spend my days constantly running from one activity to the next. even though i love all that i'm doing, it's still easy to feel burnt out. especially with the holiday season so quickly approaching, i'm making it my intention so slow down. take a few deep breaths. sit and listen to the rain. treat myself to a coffee at my favorite cafe. get to a yoga class. make time to be still.
you can't pour from an empty cup. how will you fill yours today? all i want to do is love on him but all he wants to do is hunt down the squirrels 😀
