nanas dirt cake (2)
nana usually makes this in a plastic flower pot. obviously purchased for this occasion. if you decide to use a flower pot, make sure you put a piece of tinfoil to clog up the little water hole at the bottom. this can be made in any type of serving dish. i prefer a clear glass one so all can see the layers. the last time i made it i used a trifle dish.

the recipe says to refrigerate for at least 2 hours…dirt cake always tastes best when eaten the next day.
the longer it sits, the better it gets!

if you decide to make dirt cake, which you should!!!, send me a pic and let me know how it goes!
