strawberry pickin’

last week j and i went strawberry picking and had so much fun!
there’s a farm maybe 20 mins away that we’ve always talked about going to but just never got around to it.
finally, after a perfect olive garden lunch date:
lunch datewe stopped!
really wish it hadn’t taken us so dang long to go.

we had a blast.

we picked a pound and a half of strawberries for only $2.60.
doesn’t get much better than that!

strawberriesmy strawberries looked so cute in my little kitchen.

we had a lot of fun figuring out new ways to use the strawberries.
i added them into a batch of blueberry muffins i made and j, well, he won. he just won.
strawberries 6look at those gems!
they tasted even better than they look!

so thankful for my thoughtful and creative man, hand picked strawberries and being able to spend time together once again.
